Personal Background
Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Relocated to the Twin Cities in 1980, and quickly became an ardent fan of the metro area and active in civic and cultural affairs.
Married, with two sons who are recent graduates of our alma maters: St. Olaf College and the University of Iowa. I enjoy spending my free time with family; Nordic walking; boating and lake life; attending design and architecture-related events; traveling; and hunting for decorative accessories, artwork, and unusual finds.
